In order to ensure health care professionals are providing the best care possible based on the most up-to-date information available, Miami-Dade AHEC provides top-quality continuing education credits at a low cost.
We are also frequently called upon by outside agencies and health organizations to organize on-site training and conferences on their behalf. Because of our unique knowledge of the South Florida area, we are able to facilitate cost effective, well managed events.
Miami-Dade AHEC is an approved provider (CE Broker Provider # 50-1349) for continuing education credits for Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists, and Mental Health Counselors, Psychologists, Nursing (RN, ARNP, & LPN), Dieticians & Nutritionists and Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) – NCHEC #MEP 2904.
Through the Florida AHEC Network and Florida Medical Association, programs may be submitted upon request for Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits designated specifically for Physicians and/or Physician Assistants – MD, DO & PA.
